Things that we love about the Glamorca RO Unit:

  • There is a TDS tester built into the unit so that you know when your TDS goes above 0ppm
  • Secondly, The LCD readout on the front of the unit is easy to understand
  • A built in timer clearly tells you when filters need changing

Ready to go…

The Glamorca RO unit, is otherwise known as a RODI system or a reverse osmosis machine.

It comes complete with filtration cartridges and the membrane already in place so that setting up is easier.

Supplied with:

Teflon tape
Hose Connection 1/4 to 3/4
Connecting pipe: 2m red, 2m blue, 2m white
Drain Clamp
Feed Water Adapter
Ball Valve

Reverse Osmosis Systems are now easy thanks to the Glamorca RO Unit!

The GLAMORCA reverse osmosis system has an LCD screen that informs you about the quality of the produced water. It measures TDS in ppm.

When one of the LEDs is red, it is time to change the filter displayed by this LED (see below):

  1. 5 μ Sediment filter: change every 4 months
  2. Activated carbon filter: change every 6 months
  3. Carbon block filter: change along with the above filter every 6 months
  4. Reverse osmosis membrane: change every 12 months
  5. Deionisation filter: change this whenever the TDS goes from 0 to 1

Small footprint

This machine is as neat as RODI systems come! The length and width only require a small footprint space, and the height easily fits into a cabinet or can be placed anywhere within a couple of meters from a tap water supply:

H 39cm

W 15cm

L 39cm

A few notes from Glamorca

Our reverse osmosis system is for indoor use because it is meant only for aquarium hobby usage.

This RO unit is designed for treating tap water from the cold water faucet.

The operating temperature should be between 4°C and a maximum of 30°C. (for a short time). The required operating pressure must be at least 0.5 bar, ideally 1.7bar and the maximum permissible pressure is 4bar.

Don’t use your GLAMORCA Reverse Osmosis System directly with rain, spring or fountain water, etc., because a high iron content of this type of water would lead in a short time to the deterioration of the membrane.

Protect all components, especially the membrane from the sun, heat and cold. Once it is in operation, the membrane must always remain moist and not dry out.
