Top Tips:
As we mentioned earlier, excellent plant health also requires other aquarium conditions.
Make sure that you have a good quality aquarium light that isn’t too old. Metal halide or T5 and T8 bulbs are best changed at least once a year to maintain the correct spectrum for plants to thrive. Most LED lights will last for many years. If you have old lighting, why not think about moving on to LEDs? They will save you money in electricity and in bulb changes.
As well as providing a high quality liquid food for your plants, also think about rood feeders. If it is a new set up you could start off with a substrate specifically designed for plants like JBL Manado. If you have a well matured substrate, you can top up nutrients with root balls.
CO2 will also help your plants to flourish.
