Description

Brine shrimp + spirulina 250g by Gamma is a highly nutritious food. Most ornamental fish will love this food. It is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Why is spirulina beneficial for my fish?

Getting some plant matter into your fishes diet just became easier! Enriched with spirulina, this brine shrimp has many beneficial effects for almost all fish. Spirulina improves colouration, growth, immune system, digestion and general vitality.

For some fish, “greens” in their diet are absolutely essential. Spirulina ensures good health and longevity. In marine aquaria, tangs and angelfish will especially benefit. Any algae eating fish will gain essential nutrients from this food. Enriched brine shrimp is an easy way to ensure that the dietary needs of your fishes are improved.

Feed frozen foods as part of a balanced diet

Frozen foods are great as a treat and as part of a well rounded diet. Frozen brine shrimp is also a brilliant way to encourage fussy eaters to start feeding. Some fish have been known to completely shun flake food. Frozen food is very useful in this situation, and can even be a fishes life saver for very finicky feeders. It is normally easier to get a fish starting to feed with foods such as brine shrimp because they resemble a more natural food. In some cases this can be used as a transition and once a fish is feeding well, it may then be possible to slowly add flake and pellets foods to their diet.

Brine shrimp + spirulina 250g is a frozen slice flat pack so that it can be easily stored. It also makes portion control very easy. Simply break off the amount that your fish require. We recommend defrosting it in a small amount of aquarium water shortly before adding to the aquarium.

This food must be stored in a freezer. As with all aquarium foods, care must be taken to not overfeed. Feed as much as your fish can eat in under 60 seconds.

Gamma foods offer high quality ingredients.
They are rapidly packed, sealed & frozen. Then gamma irradiated. This completely eliminates any risk of introducing harmful parasites or bacteria into your aquarium, and also means that the food is completely safe to store in your freezer.
