Bloodworms are a great treat for almost any ornamental fish. However, we do not recommend feeding bloodworms to fish that require a low protein diet such as Malawi cichlids.

This product must be kept in the freezer until fed to the fish. It’s a good idea to let a bloodworm cube defrost in a small container before putting it into the tank, at Cornwall Aquatics we use an egg cup with a small amount of aquarium water to defrost our food!

As with any food, make sure you only feed as much as they can eat in around 2 minutes.
